strongestrose: Los Angeles, CA, United States; I am a 39 year-old makeup and skincare fanatic. My obsession has gotten me in trouble, but has brought me more joy as not only a creative outlet, but a therapeutic one as well! I have made many wonderful friends via chat boards such as Makeupalley (user name chapiette), which offers so much more than makeup chat. I met my amazing husband 5 years ago dancing the Argentine Tango.....so romantic! We got married in 2010 and just had our precious baby boy, Daniel, on August 18, 2011. He was diagnosed with disability shortly after birth. I am working through this, and learning that so much of what hurts is my own ego at not getting what I expected. I am also learning that what I got is so much more wonderful than anything I imagined. My son is the light of my life. Part of this blog, in addition to makeup and skincare related topics, will be to share insight on what it's like for me to be a mother and updates on Daniel's progress. There are as many new therapies out there as there are misconceptions! I am committed to giving him the best life, and helping him to achieve his full potential. He is an awesome little dude already! I look forward to the journey!
